The CAST and CREW -
YaliniDream (Writer, Co-Director, Performer) is a Sri Lankan Tamil raised in OUTside Lands. She conjures spirit through her unique blend of poetry, theater, storytelling, dance & song. One of the South Asian American community’s most prominent performance poets, YaliniDream has toured nationally throughout the US as well as performing in Canada, England & Sri Lanka.
Kiebpoli Calnek (Choreographer, co-Director, Set Design, blacK*acrobat) is thrilled to be a part of this magical year long journey with YaliniDream and the entire cast and crew. Her successful acting and dancing career after graduating from the School of Performing Arts and the City College of New York received a vertical boost from her new found love of aerial corde lisse. Melding her directing accomplishments (Black Girl Ugly, WOW cafe thr. 2008, 2009) with her desire to engage people of color to produce aerial theatre performance pieces with blacK*acrobat, she looks forward to many more collaborations and visually stunning shows. Sunder Ashni (Performer) is a phenomenal performing artist and intuitive healer manifesting work to heal, uplift and empower herself and others through sound, movement, meditation and sacred imagery...Thank you for bringing me into being.
Shenelle Eaton Foster (Performer) is a director, choreographer, and performing artist. She is a member of WOW Cafe Theater and The Movement Theater Company.
Segolene Marchand Lazzaro (Performer) Since 2000 Segolene has been performing as a dancer/aerialist for many different independent artists and companies on stage and on film in France, Belgium, Holland, Canada and the US, while developing her own choreographic works. Always curious to discover and share other artists’ work and to develop new skills through new influences and styles, she’s happy to collaborate with the Quiet Come Dawn team on this new project!
Nicolette Dixon (Stage Manager) holds a BA in theatre arts from UCSC. She is an actor/performer/designer/director as well as stage manager, and LOVES this show! www.thegiddymultitudevaudeville.wordpress.com
Marea Judilla (Costume Design) is a visual artist known for “fabric sculptures” and legendary windows at Housing Works Thrifts. Her work takes flight from gallery walls to aerial dancers.
Thea Cooper (Light Design) is the resident designer for Full of Noises, and generally does lighting design and assistanting, with a side serving of aerial work.
Dj Lynnee Denise (Soundscape Design) is known for her eclectic mixes of classic hip-hop, soul, funk and deep house, dj lynnee denise of Wildseed Music draws from Black social and political movements to present the dynamic range of music of the Diaspora.
Theo Czerevko (Soundboard Operator) has been a sound technician since 2001. An aerial artist since 2006, ze currently studies corde lisse with Kiebpoli Calnek.
